'Dance Like A Man' has been written by the very well known playwright  Mahesh Dattani ( A Sahitya Akademi Awardee) and Produced and Directed by Lillete Dubey, Artistic Director of The  Primetime Theatre Company, with 24 plays to her credit ( including several award winning ones).

DANCE LIKE MAN is easily the longest running Indian play in English having performed over 325 shows, and is also an original one!

Performed extensively across over a dozen cities in India and at the picturesque Watermans Art Centre by the Thames in London, 'Dance like A Man' has also done a 2 week run  in New York at theTribeca Arts Centre, and performed at the Portland International Performing Arts Festival in Oregon,USA, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and in several cities around the globe includingAuckland, Singapore, Dubai, Colombo, Lahore, San Francisco, Stanford, Houston, Dallas, North Carolina, Chicago,Washington D.C, Kuala Lampur,Kathmandu, etc and within India to cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kottayam, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Chennai, Cochin Bangalore, Vadodara, Jullunder, Amritsar many more! 

A play that is universally loved where ever it has been performed, the production is a milestone today in Indian theatre and underlines the fact that Indian plays rooted firmly in our milieu, that address universal issues, have a large appreciative audience abroad and can stand up to some of the best!
