Witnessing an extravaganza was never easier. Just pack your baggage, get a validation letter from the college authority and head to Kharagpur. Follow these simple guidelines and getting an accommodation would be like a piece of cake.
Kharagpur is well connected to all major cities of India owing to its strategic location. Trains from Kolkata ply at a regular basis and these can be found at http://iitkgp.ac.in/train/.The sprawling IIT Kgp campus is a mere 10 minutes drive from the station.
Accommodation will be provided at the campus itself. Prior notification is to be given to Abhey Kalra by dropping a mail at kalra@springfest.in. This is necessary to ensure a hassle free arrangement.
Also drop a word to Sahir Hasnain at sahir@springfest.in informing about the timing of your arrival so that you can be received at station itself.
Once you reach the campus, you will be directed to the Control Tent at the Arena. Register yourself against a nominal fee to avail the accommodation facility. This also includes passes to all the star Nites except for the Mega Concert. A booklet having information about various events and their venues will also be provided.
Please carry your college id’s and the validation letter from the college authority at the time of registration.
From here, proceed to the adjoining Accommodation Desk. Mattresses and blankets can be obtained from here against a refundable security deposit.
The procedure being complete, you will be directed to your respective accommodations.
Accommodations will be provided from 21st Jan to 24th Jan.
Accommodation provided will be on a sharing basis.
Canteens and eateries in the campus are adequately equipped to take care of the food. The registration fees, however, doesn’t include the food cost.
In case of any dispute, the decision of Spring Fest shall be final and binding.
